Sunday is NATIONAL PORTFOLIO DAY (for Dallas anyway).

This is an email I received that I thought was more appropriate for you, so I'm passing along the info.

YOU SHOULD GO! YES, I'M YELLING BECAUSE IT'S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GET FEED BACK FROM SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME. Take your journals and your other larger pieces and see what they say about your work.

Here's the letter I got:

As an admissions counselor at Kansas City Art Institute, I would like to invite you to attend the upcoming National Portfolio Day in Dallas on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010.  I, along with two other KCAI representatives, will be in Dallas, and we would be happy to have the opportunity to review your portfolio, hear your ideas, and give you feedback about your work.  We can also provide you with information about the college application process. 

The event will be hosted by School of Visual Arts at the Hilton Anatole and will be held Sunday, October 3rd from 12 PM to 4 PM.  The location is Hilton Anatole, 2201 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75207.
